This Saturday

This Saturday we celebrated our niece Acacia's 1st birthday. The girls were able to play a little bit and there was fun outdoor water games. There was a obstacle course to go through while carrying water that you had to use to fill up a jug (which Carter, Rashel & Shelby WON!!), and a water balloon toss that turned into a full on water balloon fight. That was fun! Everybody got soaked! We're not sure what Savannah thought about that. She seemed to just stare at times in wonder as to WHY we were throwing balloons, and HOW water was in those balloons and then WHY in the world she was getting WET! She did like to just let them fall to the ground and watch them pop. After getting wet, we went inside and opened presents and one by one everyone left. It was a fun filled day and we can't believe Acacia is 1 already! That means Savannah will be 2 soon! We better finish those invitations....

This was the first time Savannah got to go on one of these kids swings, (no where has them) and as you can see, she is clutching herself! I'm not sure how she felt about it. She didn't cry or anything, but she didn't appear to be having a wonderful time either. She wasn't sitting in it quite right though either. She looked like she was about to fall out half the time.
