Watch Out!! He's On The Move

This precious little guy is on the move. He hasn't mastered crawling yet, but he still manages to get around pretty fast. He's got the leg part down, but has a hard time with his arms. Oh, he's strong enough alright, but the "moving my arm and keeping balanced" part is what he hasn't yet mastered. Even when he face plants it he doesn't really cry a whole lot. He just rolls over and kicks his feet in frustration, and then rolls right back over and trys again. He's a persistent little bugger.

He is also sitting up now. Don't get him too excited though or he may just fly backwards!

We know that he is incredibly proud of himself that he can get out of his car seat. Yup, out of the car seat, all on his own. Even when I buckle the top half of it to keep him in, he still trys to get out, and when he can't, he gets MAD! Watching him get out of that thing really is hilarious. He just slides himself down in his car seat until he gets to the edge and wiggles his bum out and then sits up. Sometimes if he's not perfect at it the car seat will come back and bump his head. It's hard to explain, I wish I had video of it. I need to get pictures of it or something.

Pretty much at this stage he just wants to be moving all the time. He doesn't want to sit in a car seat or in your lap really. In your lap he will jump up and down and up and down. He's very curious and wants to see what we're doing all the time. He has loved to walk with assistance for awhile now, but now he's getting really good at it. It's almost a chore to get him to finish a bottle lately. He drinks a little and then throws it aside because he wants to play more. I have to buckle him in his car seat just to get him to drink most of it. He's been trying new foods lately, but we still struggle with fitting that in everyday. Almost always he has something in his mouth. Can't wait for the first tooth!!

Carter says he looks just like me. But not me as a baby; me now.

Stella was looking at this post with me and she said... I like Coopers. Funny. He is doing well if he is already crawling... Sterling Just got it down, exactly on his nine month birthday, but he doesn't do his arms either. He scoots on his shoulder with his head tilted to the side. Looks painful to me. Cooper sure is cute - and he does lookjust like you now.
