Our Beloved Lost

ABC's "Lost" aired it's last show last night. tear. This has been "our" show for the past 6 years. Carter watched from the beginning and a few episodes in got me hooked as well. It started before we even got married. We were thinking last night how many episodes we've missed over the years. We know we missed one on the night we brought Savannah home from the hospital. We were rushing home with our parents in tow as well and when we got home our dish was out. We were so pissed. I know we missed an episode when we went to Hawaii, but they replayed it. We own all 5 boxed sets and will get the 6th one in August. You get the drift. We love this show. Most nights after we'd finish watching an episode, we'd stay up talking about our theories. It has been a lot of fun. I told Carter, "Once the series is over, you know we're just going to have to start watching from the beginning again, right?". You can always learn something new re-watching it. We love it. And we'll miss it. Here we are last night in our Lost get up while watching it at my parents.

You should know that Carter was wearing this shirt the night Savannah was born.

And Caren recently sent up a suitcase full of stuff for all the kiddos in the family, and guess what was in there? This shirt that happens to fit me. Carter told me last night he was totally jealous of my shirt.

Cooper really wasn't that happy last night. He was running around everywhere and breaking things and putting us on edge. At least the kids fell asleep half way through the two and a half hour finale (awesome!) so we could have some peace.

We highly recommend this show to anyone. I didn't think I'd be that into it because it had a sci/fi element to it, but I've never minded. It is way character driven with great story lines. Don't be surprised if someday, not anytime soon, we name a child after a character on that show. That's how cool it is.
