On Christmas Eve we went over to Shelby & Steve's house. We had yummy BBQ and mixed drinks. The kids loved Steven's train that went around the tree. They also had fun playing with there tot ta toots (below). We all hung out and opened some presents and later in the evening played a game of Ticket to Ride, which Parker won.
Uncle Taylor gave the kids these cute whistles that he got in Mexico. Savannah's was this cute little dolphin. (can I tell you that I just sat here for 5 minutes trying to remember how to spell whistle. huge brain fart.) Savannah had such fun with it. Uncle Steven was helping teach her how to blow in it and when she would get it right she would start laughing and sqealing with excitement.
We all received the best Christmas present/miracle as well. Shelby and Steven told us that they are expecting in June!! This is the most amazing news we could get from them. They have been trying to have a baby for 3 years now and have been through sooo much. It is truly a blessing for them and the whole family. Everyone was so excited!! We can't wait to hear what Baby Strong will be.
Steven and Savannah watching a movie together before we started our game. It was a very low key night which was nice and we got home a little after midnight. Just in time for Santa!!

Oh my word.... I am sooo excited for Steve and Shelby. That is so wonderful!!! That is the best christmas present you could ask for. Tell them congrats from me!!
