The last weekend in July we went to the Open House for the new Oquirrh Mountain Temple in South Jordan. It's the only city that has two temples in it, and they're really close to each other. We went with Barbara, Lesli, Larissa, Jake and Acacia. The kids were all pretty good. Acacia and Savannah walked through the temple holding hands and were really sweet. After walking through the temple they had a little tent set up with cookies and water so we went over there to indulge. The cookies were pretty darn good. Poor Acacia got literally knocked off her feet by a linebacker of a girl though and hit her head pretty hard on the ground. Some parents are really annoying when they just let there kids run around everywhere and don't watch them....
These little girlies loved the fountain in front of the temple.
Afterward everyone came back to our place and had some dinner and hung out. Lesli brought the best deli turkey breast I've ever had. I made a mental note to myself to buy that next time. When saying her prayers lately, Savannah has said a few times, "Go to the temple". Too sweet.
